Eventide Senior Living Communities is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our team. This full-time position involves working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotation for every third weekend and holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  2. Perform various cleaning tasks including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and window washing.
  3. Ensure all workspaces and equipment are organized, safe, and secure.
  4. Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies related to housekeeping.
  5. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  6. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  7. Restock supplies and maintain housekeeping carts and dispensers.
  8. Assist with dining area clean-up as needed.
  9. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linens and personal items.
  10. Sort and distribute clean linens to appropriate areas within the facility.
  11. Maintain cleanliness of laundry containers and adhere to laundry policies.
  12. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to the supervisor.
  13. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
