Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pathology department as Medical Director, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the hospital's administration to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Participate in committee meetings and quality data control initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • AP/CP Board Certification is mandatory.
  • Hematopathology subspecialty is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of hospital-based experience and medical director experience are required.
  • Georgia license or FCVS in place.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and management experience are highly valued.
