Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fleet maintenance shop, ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of technicians and support staff to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory, to ensure that all necessary parts and materials are available.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance and repair costs.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all technicians and support staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance and repair data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
