Join Our Team as a Diesel Mechanic
B.A.H. Express, Inc. is a leading transportation company seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Conley, GA. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of 300 trucks and 700 trailers.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engines, air conditioning systems, and brake systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other equipment
- Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
- Test drive trucks and buses to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are working properly
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain equipment
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air conditioning systems, and brake systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
