Key Responsibilities
As a CPU Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and driving new ideas in micro-architecture and circuit design to reduce CPU power consumption
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize CPU power for various use cases
- Working with micro-architects and physical designers to identify power reduction opportunities
- Creating and validating power models to drive architectural trade-offs
- Optimizing CPU power efficiency and usage of power management features
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Broad knowledge of software, operating systems, computer system organization, circuit analysis, and logic design
- Familiarity with high-performance CPU architecture
- Strong CMOS design and analysis skills
- Excellent C programming and scripting skills
