Key Responsibilities

As a CPU Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
  • Developing and driving new ideas in micro-architecture and circuit design to reduce CPU power consumption
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize CPU power for various use cases
  • Working with micro-architects and physical designers to identify power reduction opportunities
  • Creating and validating power models to drive architectural trade-offs
  • Optimizing CPU power efficiency and usage of power management features

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Broad knowledge of software, operating systems, computer system organization, circuit analysis, and logic design
  • Familiarity with high-performance CPU architecture
  • Strong CMOS design and analysis skills
  • Excellent C programming and scripting skills
