The Coordinator will partner with hiring managers to fulfill current and future staffing requirements while ensuring adherence to HR policies and regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Sourcing:
- Establish and nurture a diverse talent pool through various sourcing techniques, including online research, networking, social media outreach, advertising, and referrals.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for present and future vacancies.
- Source, assess, and manage applications for both internal and external candidates, ensuring compliance with affirmative action guidelines.
- Candidate Engagement and Communication:
- Provide a positive candidate experience through timely follow-ups and support throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates from initial outreach to their start date.
- Collaboration and Advisory:
- Engage with hiring managers to comprehend and anticipate recruitment needs, offering guidance on talent acquisition practices.
- Participate in regular recruiting meetings with assigned managers and submit weekly activity reports to the HR Manager.
- HR Support and Regulatory Compliance:
- Assist with various HR functions, including employment status changes, benefits administration, safety compliance, and reporting.
- Ensure that recruitment and hiring practices align with governmental regulations and organizational policies.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain precise records of interviews and new hires, ensuring accurate data entry into applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
- Collect data, conduct analyses, and generate reports as required.
- Training and Orientation:
- Support the preparation of educational materials and provide orientation to new employees regarding personnel policies and union agreements.
- Program Management:
- Oversee volunteer and internship initiatives and manage recruitment for nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary staff.
- Professional Growth:
- Stay updated on advancements in HR practices, market trends, and relevant regulations.
- Pursue ongoing HR education and training as necessary.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of recruiting and HR experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Certifications: PHR or other HR certifications are preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experienced with applicant tracking and HRIS systems (ADP preferred).
- Strong computer skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with strong analytical and abstract thinking skills.
- Personal Attributes:
