About Our Job:

We are seeking a dedicated Afterschool Care Worker to join our team at the Richmond Community School District. As an essential member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and academic success of our students.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students after school
  • Implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and creativity
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and collaborations
  • Support students' emotional and social development through guidance and mentoring

What You'll Need:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Previous experience working with children (ages 5-12) in a group setting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods

Compensation Package:

$42,000 - $60,000 per year, plus benefits, professional development opportunities, and a fun work environment
