Primary Care Physician

As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a key role in providing direct patient care and assessments in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies as needed
- Prescribe and manage medications and treatments
- Refer patients to specialists as necessary
- Document patient progress and outcomes
- Participate in patient care rounds and conferences
- Communicate patient management strategies to the healthcare team
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
- Valid DEA license
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- 1+ years of clinical experience in geriatric, adult, or family practice setting
