Job Summary

CEMEX is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality control program and ensure the continuous production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and a proven track record of implementing effective quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
  • Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate them with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  • Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product, quality, and reliability.
  • Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality to maintain customer relations.
Requirements
  • 4-10 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
Working Conditions
  • Capable of working extended hours as needed.
  • Potentially hot, cold, dusty, etc.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
