We are seeking a highly skilled Training Development Specialist II to join our team at the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As a key member of the Office of Fleet Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the state's passenger vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs for fleet staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in areas such as vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and customer service.
- Manage Fleet Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and vehicle replacement.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with state agencies, fleet staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that fleet operations are aligned with the needs of the state and its citizens.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, public administration, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
