Key Responsibilities:- Assist the primary machine operator in initiating, halting, and modifying machinery to maintain seamless operations.
- Monitor the performance and output of machines to detect any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Prepare and configure machinery for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting necessary settings.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components.
- Examine finished products for quality assurance and consistency, adhering to established standards.
- Report defects or issues to the machine operator and assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Support the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as required (training may be provided).
- Maintain precise records of production runs, including quantities produced and any encountered issues.
- Provide consistent updates to the machine operator and team members regarding production status and concerns.
- Collaborate closely with the machine operator and team to ensure efficient production processes.
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and operational standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage physical tasks effectively.
Starting Pay: $17/hour
