Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Fort Atkinson. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Assist in managing the hotel's operations, including maintaining established cost and quality standards, and ensuring that all departments are running smoothly.
- Guest Service: Establish a positive atmosphere and guest service attitude, and maintain personal contact with guests to ensure their needs are met.
- Asset Management: Assist with the maintenance and security of the hotel's assets, including equipment, facilities, and supplies.
- Marketing and Development: Assist with local marketing of the hotel's products and services, and contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce policies and procedures established by Cornerstone Mgmt, and ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to these guidelines.
- Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, staff, and external partners.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel management systems, including property management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field, and relevant certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA).
