Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the boarding and disembarking process for passengers.
  • Oversee computerized passenger boarding systems.
  • Provide assistance to customers with special requirements, including arranging wheelchairs and support for unaccompanied minors.
  • Modify customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as necessary.
  • Operate the Jetway efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve corporate goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of the required training program.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment while meeting company objectives and customer needs.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in the airline industry.
  • Previous roles in front-line customer service.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications.

Work Environment:

  • Utilize telephones, computers, and other office equipment.
  • Work in an airport ramp setting, subject to varying weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
  • Availability for all shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to handle objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Support passengers with disabilities, including assisting with wheelchairs.

Employment is contingent upon a valid driver's license, a clear driving record, and the completion of a criminal history check and drug screening as required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is also necessary. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Compensation:

Starting rate of $18.39 per hour.
