As an HVAC Cost Estimator, your role will be vital to their continued success. Your key responsibilities will encompass assessing project scopes, interpreting blueprints, performing material take-offs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with the team to ensure precise and timely bidding. This position allows you to demonstrate your expertise and contribute to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess project scopes and create precise cost estimates for HVAC installations.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine material, labor, and equipment needs.
- Conduct material take-offs to calculate quantities and costs of HVAC components.
- Work alongside the team to guarantee accurate and timely project bidding.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, proposals, and bidding information.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC estimating.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs.
- Familiarity with relevant estimating software.
