The role of a Concrete Finisher involves the meticulous smoothing and finishing of poured concrete surfaces, including floors, walls, and sidewalks, to achieve the desired textures. This is accomplished using a variety of hand tools and power tools such as floats, trowels, and screeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily maintenance and inspections of equipment.
  • Assist the paving crew with site preparation and other necessary tasks.
  • Actively participate as a crucial team member, contributing to the overall success of the projects.
  • Attend daily safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Work hours may vary to accommodate project needs, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, whether hot or cold.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in operating asphalt equipment.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining jobsite safety.
  • Demonstrated diligence in practicing safe work methods.
