Job Title: Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor

Williamsburg Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor will provide clinical instruction to students in our nursing program, working under the direction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or the Assistant Dean of Nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in clinical instruction as designated by the Course Coordinator, Assistant Dean of Nursing, and or Dean of Health Science.
  • Supervise and assist students in clinical laboratory experience.
  • Select clients for student clinical experience.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as scheduled by the Course Coordinator to assure consistency of course content with clinical experiences.
  • Adhere to course and program objectives and collaborate with the Course Coordinator in developing appropriate clinical experiences.
  • Participate in the student's clinical evaluation process.
  • Utilize appropriate instructional resources to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress and maintain appropriate records.
  • Review the curriculum and specific course content to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
  • Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state.
  • Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.
