Loan Servicing Specialist

Eureka Savings Bank is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Servicer to join our team. As a Loan Servicer, you will play a critical role in the loan process, ensuring that all loan files are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the loan process by ordering necessary documents and updating information on our computer system.
- Track current insurance coverage on loan collateral and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process payments, advances, accrual adjustments, and payoffs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare payoff letters and department invoices as needed.
- Complete file maintenance on loans, including logging bankruptcy notices and returned mail.
- Process payment corrections and revise billing statements as necessary.
- Work with lending staff and attorneys/title companies to resolve file exceptions and ensure compliance with all bank policies and Federal and State Banking laws and regulations.
- Assist with data collection and reporting for loan support projects and audits.
- Prepare documents and releases of mortgages, as well as process collateral releases and send customer repaid loan documents.
- Perform survey of competitors' interest rates and escrow analysis disbursements for taxes and/or insurance.
- Scan loan files into electronic format and perform other duties as assigned.
- Some college education preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong time value of money comprehension.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to handle a multitude of different situations, sometimes simultaneously.
- Desire for continuous incremental improvement for both self and organization.
