About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Leidos. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documents, including user guides, manuals, and technical publications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
  • Research and gather technical information to prepare written text for various types of documents.
  • Apply technical manual standards to work products.
  • Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer-related information.
Requirements
  • Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
  • Six (6) years' experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
