We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Counselor and Group Facilitator to join our team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. As a key member of our Partial Hospitalization program, you will provide behavioral health counseling services to patients and lead group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and establish effective therapy treatment goals.
- Administer individual and group therapy sessions to promote patient growth and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient observations and progress.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide patients with information and resources to support their recovery and community integration.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
- Masters degree in a related field strongly preferred.
- Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) strongly preferred.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
