Program Overview
We are excited to offer recent graduates in Speech Language Pathology a unique opportunity to engage in their Clinical Fellowship while delving into the dynamic field of Early Intervention. Our Clinical Fellowship Program adheres to all ASHA and state guidelines necessary for acquiring the Certificate of Clinical Competence and professional state licensure. The program is designed to deliver personalized support, enabling you to gain valuable experience, autonomy, and confidence as a new professional.
Mentorship and Support
Your assigned CPG CF Mentor will guide you through understanding essential procedures and required documentation, share insights into various therapeutic skills and techniques, and address any site-specific concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a total of thirty-six (36) weeks of supervised clinical experience.
- Deliver speech and language services to patients.
- Conduct evaluations and provide differential diagnoses for Speech, Language, and Voice using both formal and informal assessment methods.
- Employ therapeutic devices and other strategies to maintain or restore optimal speech and language capabilities.
Qualifications
- Possession of a New York State Speech and Language Pathology License.
- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
