We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Development Teacher to join our team at Tulsa Honor Academy. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our scholars.

About the Role

The English Language Development Teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our scholars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement rigorous lesson plans that align with state and national standards
  • Assess and evaluate scholar progress, providing targeted support and feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with scholars, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • State certification in English Language Development or related field
  • Experience working with diverse populations and developing culturally responsive lesson plans
