Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair various medical devices, focusing on sterilizers and anesthesia machines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards for all equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices.
  • Perform thorough biomedical inspections to verify proper operation and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues utilizing diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
  • Educate and assist clinical personnel on the correct usage of medical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Provide on-call technical assistance and execute emergency repairs as required.
  • Comply with national and international medical equipment safety and performance standards.
  • Travel to various locations for repairs, installations, and routine service as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently (over 50% of the time).
  • Basic technical skills and a strong interest in biomedical technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with medical staff and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Desired Skills

  • Certification or hands-on experience with biomedical devices (e.g., Mindray, GE, Primus, Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer) is advantageous.
  • Experience with software and hardware integration in medical devices.
  • Familiarity with current medical device regulations and compliance standards.
