Nurse Manager of Emergency Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Services team at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and service.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and competent workforce.
- BSN required; MSN or Master's Degree in related field preferred.
- Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.
- National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire.
- BLS/ACLS as required.
- Minimum 2 years in a nursing management position.
