Job Summary

Adirondack Health is seeking a skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam/treatment rooms and assist patients with examinations, taking vital signs, weights, and heights.
  • Assist healthcare teams in maintaining daily operations of the Health Care Center, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with RN Supervisors and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in nursing and front-end staff roles.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • MOA Certification and AAS Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a family practice setting as a receptionist or medical office assistant preferred.
  • Will be required to take the BLS course.
