Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Horse Park, including live racing events, grant requests, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Racing Officials Board of Directors to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including horse racing industry professionals, sponsors, and community leaders.
  • Oversee the management of the Off-Track Betting (OTB) facility located in Fargo.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in horse racing industry management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in sponsorship and partnership development.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
