The successful candidate will learn and develop plumbing skills while assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of various water and waste systems, including pipes, drains, and fixtures.
  • Follow detailed instructions from lead plumbers to learn plumbing processes and techniques.
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment related to plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Help in diagnosing plumbing problems and determining appropriate solutions.
  • Support the team in complying with local building codes and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a certified plumbing apprenticeship program.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and common appliances in plumbing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent physical condition and strength with the ability to work in cramped spaces.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a construction or plumbing-related field.
  • Familiarity with plumbing codes and regulations.
