Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Mechanic to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, and service requests for commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, and service requests for commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective communication.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to customers, including occasional overtime and weekend work.
  • Adhere to company safety programs and maintain security and accountability of company assets.
Requirements
  • Requires Mechanical Journeyman status.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boilers, and steam.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.
