Emergency Nurse Career Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. This role offers multiple shift and FTE opportunities, allowing you to choose a schedule that suits your needs.

About the Role

As an Emergency Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
