Job Description

Uncommon Schools is seeking a highly qualified and passionate High School Science Teacher to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will play a critical role in preparing students for success in college and beyond by providing a rigorous and engaging science education.

Responsibilities
  • Instruction: Teach a curriculum that includes analysis of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences, preparing students for Advanced Placement (AP) and collegiate level coursework.
  • Data Analysis: Meet weekly with your principal and/or instructional coach to analyze and respond to trends in student work samples and assessments.
  • School Culture: Build positive relationships with students, partner with families to ensure resources are available to support learning needs, and engage in practice-based professional development.
