About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Registered Dietician to join our team at Fremont Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with our patients' medical program goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines.
  • Manage resources in a cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in performance improvement efforts.
  • Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university.
  • Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association.
  • Experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
  • Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.
  • CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire.
  • Completion of Fremont Hospital's non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
