About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Nutrition Services: Utilize established standards of care and practice protocols to develop and implement nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that align with our patients' medical program goals and objectives.
  • Manage Resources Effectively: Manage resources in a cost-effective manner to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutrition services.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Efforts: Collaborate with our performance improvement team to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance our nutrition services.
  • Maintain Professional Competency: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nutrition and dietetics to maintain professional competency and skills required for practice.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related area from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association.
  • Licensure and Certification: Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.
  • Additional Requirements: CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire. Completion of Fremont Hospital's non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
