Position SummaryThe Automotive Sales and Service Associate plays a vital role in our stores, serving as a key contributor to customer satisfaction and operational success. This position is designed for individuals seeking to grow their careers within the automotive service sector. The primary responsibilities include understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products and services, performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, and ensuring a positive customer experience through efficient service delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement and Sales
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer inquiries - 75%
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks - 25%
- Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising as needed.
Career Development
- Support the Store Manager and act as Manager-On-Duty when required.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of store operations and alternate between customer service and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Complete necessary training and educational modules for the role.
- Learn to operate store systems and perform essential vehicle service tasks.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience through training programs or certifications.
- Prior experience in retail sales is advantageous.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is beneficial.
