The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction in both undergraduate and graduate programs, focusing on courses related to performance nutrition. Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in online Master's level courses and summer session General Education offerings.
The successful applicant should demonstrate a strong background in teaching and possess the ability to effectively communicate with students at various academic levels. This role will also involve the development of master's level courses, both in-person and online, with an emphasis on performance and applied nutrition.
Furthermore, the candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the nutrition curriculum for the new Master of Professional Studies in Human Performance Science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a total of 27 credits across various courses.
- Contribute to the Department of Nutritional Sciences through service activities.
- Possibly collaborate within an Integrated Support Team in the Human Performance Science Department.

Qualifications:
The position of Teaching Faculty may be filled at either the Assistant or Associate level, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
For the Assistant Teaching Professor role, a doctoral degree in Nutrition or a closely related field is required, along with one to two years of relevant experience.
For the Associate Teaching Professor position, candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Nutrition or a closely related discipline, possess five or more years of teaching experience, and demonstrate excellence in areas such as course design, innovative teaching methodologies, and curricular support.
