Job Summary:

Penn State Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Windmere Centre. As an LPN, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
  • Instruct patients and families according to the teaching plans.
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
