We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist II will be responsible for providing routine respiratory care services for pediatric adult and geriatric patient populations. This includes provision of inhaled medication, bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, noninvasive ventilation (NIV), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), arterial blood gas analysis, and limited assessment of pulmonary mechanics in accordance with Respiratory Therapy protocols and/or policy & procedure. They may also assist physicians with complex procedures such as endotracheal intubation and therapeutic bronchoscopy as needed. To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a valid State of California License or Permit Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification is also required. A minimum of one year of experience as a respiratory therapist is necessary, along with successful completion of accredited school of respiratory therapy and associated clinical rotations. An Associate of Science degree is also preferred.
