Job Overview

ElevatEd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. As an integral member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of our students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our teaching staff, performing various leadership, organizational, and classroom management tasks. This includes supervising students during transitions, engaging with them at their developmental level, and promoting independence through open-ended questions and conversations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the classroom, bathroom, gym, and outside areas during transitions
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify student issues and recommend solutions
  • Track attendance and child notes, observing state, school, and class rules and regulations
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, including collecting materials and setting up equipment
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
