Job Summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repair of electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating electrical equipment, to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems, using diagnostic equipment and techniques to determine the root cause of issues.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues and implement improvements to electrical systems.
  • Document all work performed, including maintenance records and repair histories, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in electrical technology preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA and NFPA guidelines.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Electrical Technician will work in a manufacturing plant environment, with exposure to loud noises, electrical hazards, and physical demands of the job. The plant operates 24/7, and the Electrical Technician may be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
