Craniofacial Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Craniofacial Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide essential services to children with cleft and craniofacial differences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct perceptual and instrumental assessments of velopharyngeal function and other craniofacial speech disorders.
- Differentiate diagnoses of cleft palate-related speech disorders.
- Participate in decision-making for surgical or prosthetic management of VPI.
- Experience with evaluation and treatment of cleft and craniofacial feeding disorders is strongly encouraged.
About the Seattle Children's Craniofacial Center:
Our center specializes in the treatment of cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, craniofacial microsomia, and other complex craniofacial conditions. Under the leadership of Drs. Michael Cunningham, Medical Director, and Srinivas Susarla, Surgical Director, our center has become one of the largest programs of its kind in the country and one of the busiest clinics in the hospital.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Experience in pediatric diagnostic or treatment settings.
Credentials:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Washington State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric hospital experience.
- Functional knowledge of a second language.
