Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist will deliver and supervise services in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing. This role will perform evaluations, develop individual plans of care, and implement treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes. The Speech Language Pathologist will work within a team approach, collaborating with all disciplines, patients, and their significant others. This position may require services for pediatric, adolescent, inpatient, and outpatient populations. The Speech Language Pathologist will adhere to Swedish Medical Center standards, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state-of-the-art practice.

Responsibilities

- Perform evaluations and develop individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes
- Deliver and supervise services in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing
- Implement treatment plans and reassess treatment results
- Participate in discharge planning and collaborate with all disciplines

Requirements

- Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
