We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team at California Hydronics Corp in Vancouver, WA.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range

$49,920-$55,000 per year (based on 2080 hours worked annually)

About the Role

This Inside Sales Representative role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building strong relationships with potential customers and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and exhibit quality salesmanship
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the inventory and catalog to best represent the company and further advance sales
  • Accurately provide inventory information, order entry/status, changes in delivery schedules, and pricing "quotations" to customers and outside sales
  • Discuss special pricing situations with sales engineers or supervisors
  • Attend to "rush orders" within 24 hours
  • Prepare, write-up, enter, and process orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure pre-lien information is received on contractor ordered material
  • Process returns
  • Assist with Requests for Service (RFS)
  • Perform Competitive Quotation Memos (CQM) with assistance when required
  • Perform pump selections on Xylem's ESP Rep with supervision
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Knowledge of the industry and product/service offerings is desirable
