The Senior Custodian plays a vital role within the General Services Team, ensuring that city facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position involves overseeing custodial staff, inspecting their work, and ensuring compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of custodial personnel.
  • Conduct inspections of city buildings to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Provide guidance and training on the safe use of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address cleaning and maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of two years in custodial services, with a focus on maintaining buildings in a clean and orderly condition.

Education: Sufficient education to understand and communicate cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

Licenses: A valid Class C California Driver's License is required.
