Responsibilities:- Supervise and train a team of veterinary technicians to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Collaborate with veterinarians to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Assist with surgeries, procedures, and laboratory tests, adhering to state Veterinary Practice Act guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing personalized guidance on pet health concerns, Thrive Membership options, and additional treatments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, utilizing practice systems to ensure seamless data management.
- Conduct thorough health history interviews with clients, documenting essential information for medical charts.
- Implement safe restraining techniques, adhere to standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to fellow team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Veterinary Technician licensure is mandatory.
- Previous lead or supervisor experience in a veterinary hospital, preferably in emergency or specialty care.
