Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain comprehensive data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to fulfill HEDIS reporting obligations.
  • Develop and oversee complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and manipulation across diverse sources.
  • Consolidate data from various origins, including claims, clinical, and provider information, ensuring integrity and consistency.
  • Create and design interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI to illustrate HEDIS metrics and trends.
  • Deliver actionable insights to support quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Guide and mentor junior BI engineers and analysts, offering advice on best practices and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Quality, and Market divisions, to synchronize data initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working with large and complex datasets within sizable organizations.
  • Proven ability to analyze data to resolve a variety of business challenges and create visualizations that inform strategic direction.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare-related data.
  • Expertise in HEDIS measures, Medicaid programs, and healthcare quality improvement.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with senior and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience focused on healthcare and HEDIS reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
  • Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and predictive modeling.
  • Proven ability to utilize tools like Microsoft Power BI for developing data visualizations.
  • Experience in creating advanced visualization and analytical solutions across various healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.

Work from Home Requirements:

To ensure effective performance for Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees, the self-provided Internet service must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; a wired cable or DSL connection is preferred.
  • Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may only be used with prior approval from leadership.
  • Employees working from home must do so in a dedicated space free from ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

Compensation Range: The salary range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, with a range of $78,800 - $108,500 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
