Job Title: Senior Application Architect

Humana is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team and management to determine business requirements and functional specifications of applications.
  • Work with key client stakeholders to define the business problem and determine solution requirements.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, upgrades, and debugging, mentoring junior application developers, and providing technical support.
  • Ensure the technology meets the business requirements of various departments across the company and implement development plans for new and existing applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7 or more years of experience as a Sr Developer in large IT projects.
  • 5+ years' project architect and/or team lead experience.
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Azure Cloud Certification(s).
Work-At-Home Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
  • Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Pay Range:

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$104,800 - $144,300 per year
