Role Expectations:

As a Coffee Specialist, you will:

  • Welcome customers, assess their needs, respond to inquiries, and inform them about our offerings.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items according to established recipes and techniques.
  • Organize and replenish displays, ensuring all items are properly labeled and rotated.
  • Utilize equipment effectively, troubleshoot any issues, maintain inventory, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment by adhering to cleaning and operational standards. Food safety certification may be necessary in certain locations.
  • Restock service areas, manage supply orders, and maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace.

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for various shifts.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves:

  • Regular movement throughout the store to access different areas and products.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in food service is preferred. We seek individuals with a vibrant personality and strong communication skills to engage with a wide range of customers. Exceptional customer service abilities are essential to connect customers with products that suit their needs. Basic math and data entry skills are also required. Flexibility in scheduling is important.
