Job Title: Child and Adolescent Day Treatment Specialist

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Child and Adolescent Day Treatment Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide therapeutic interventions in school and community settings to support the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health principles and experience working with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in school and community settings to promote recovery and improve behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field with 2 years of post-bachelor's experience working with mental health populations.
  • Minimum 2 years of documented experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Meets requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary range is dependent on qualifications and experience. Compensation is from $40,000 USD to $45,000 USD per year.
