Job Title: Child Abuse Pediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a key member of our Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, education, and research in the field of child abuse and neglect.

About the Position

This is an open-rank, fixed-term appointment that will be offered commensurate with the candidate's experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow the inpatient and outpatient child maltreatment clinical program, participate in resident and medical student education, and develop other areas of faculty expertise relevant to child abuse and neglect.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical consults in inpatient and outpatient clinics
  • Participate in resident and medical student education
  • Develop and implement innovative programs in clinical care and advocacy
  • Contribute to the division's research portfolio
Requirements

Specific requirements for competitive applicants include being board certified/eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics and having fellowship or equivalent post-residency training.
