Role Summary:
The Material Handler will engage in a range of activities concerning the effective management and distribution of materials, alongside related transactions within our manufacturing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials.
  • Ensure shipment accuracy through verification processes.
  • Label and categorize materials appropriately.
  • Organize materials in designated storage areas.
  • Input receiving transactions into the MRP system.
  • Utilize forklifts for unloading materials as necessary.
  • Handle finished goods received from production lines.
  • Conduct cycle counts of raw materials.
  • Assist in packaging and palletizing items for shipment.
  • Scan and manage shipping documentation.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in material handling or inventory control.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with Kanban systems is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy materials.
  • Effective time management skills.
