Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction effort to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience in managing multiple commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, with a strong focus on project coordination, budget management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate project details, including staffing, materials, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and meet company standards
  • Work closely with internal teams and departments to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Review and negotiate contracts, identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Conduct site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned and address any issues that arise
  • Supervise and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and support to deliver projects successfully
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial HVAC and plumbing construction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to project sites, with occasional overnight stays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, offices, and meeting rooms.

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
