Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support our occupational therapy team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans that promote patient independence and functional ability.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Registered Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including functional evaluations and goal setting.
  • Provide patient education and training on daily living skills, mobility, and other areas of occupational therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant or related field.
  • Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • 1 year of experience in occupational therapy or related field preferred.
